Join us for an evening of authentic Argentine Tango music and delicious food at Sofreh Café. This event is part of a series featuring outstanding international artists.

On this occasion, we present Leonardo Suarez-Paz & Alejo De Los Reyes of the Nuevo Tango Arts Ensemble, performing a selection of Argentine Tango works in two sets.

Leonardo Suarez-Paz, Argentine-born violinist, vocalist, and composer, is a two-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee and was mentored by Astor Piazzolla. A fourth-generation tango artist, he has performed as violin soloist with Horacio Salgán, Mariano Mores, and Atilio Stampone, and appeared on Broadway in Forever Tango and Tango Argentino. He has also been featured as a tango dancer in The Mariano Mores Show, Zotto’s Tango x2, and Perfumes de Tango.

Alejo De Los Reyes, Argentine-born guitarist and third-generation tango musician, is recognized as a unique culture bearer of the genre. He has collaborated with renowned Argentine artists such as Juan Carlos “Tata” Cedrón, Norma Peralta, and Rubén Llaneza, as well as European artists Michel Kiener, luthier and researcher Luc Breton, and the Ensemble Fratres. He performs regularly in Argentina, the United States, and Europe.
