The beautiful Moulin en Clarens is a hall mainly focused in classical music, and especially early european music. Alejo de los Reyes played there in many occasions, both solo and with his tango group, Fulanos de Tal trío. There grew his friendship with Michel Kiener (the manager of Moulin en Clarens), the Ensemble Fratres, and later with the eminent luthier Luc Breton, which led to raise Alejo’s interest in early music instruments. It’s no surprise that this was the place in which the producers Jean-Jaques Bieri and Jean-Daniel Noir decided to record Alejo’s newest album “Al compás de la vihuela”. The album was recorded at Moulin En Clarens during two of Alejo’s tours, 2017 and 2019, and was finally released in 2022 by the belgium label Passacaille.
This concert will celebrate all that, being the firs appearance of Alejo at the French Switzerland since 2019, for revisiting most of the album’s tracks at the very site in which it was recorded
