Shinjoo Cho & Asian Art Iniciative

Enjoy an evening of art, live music, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer. Tonight’s event, presented in partnership with Asian Arts Initiative, features bandoneonist, pianist, and accordionist Shinjoo Cho with contemporary tango ensemble Oscuro Quintet. The classically trained group mixes tango with jazz and traditional sounds to elevate the genre. This dynamic evening is hosted by Anne Ishii, executive director of the Asian Arts Initiative.


First Friday at the Barnes includes access to the collection galleries and Modigliani Up Close.

Cocktails and light fare are available for purchase. Seating is limited.
