Abel Fleury (Gaspar Astarita)

My grandfather Gaspar published this book in 1995 as an author's edition, a modest print run of 500 copies that sold out in a short time. Unfortunately, he never managed to reprint it. Meanwhile, this book, which contains a valuable synthesis of Abel Fleury's life, career and work, has circulated to countless readers (Fleury's own daughter, María del Carmen, told me that she gave photocopies of the book to people interested in her father) and institutions such as the Instituto de Musicología "Carlos Vega" in Argentina.
