May / June in Buenos Aires

Alejo de los Reyes will be in Argentina for four weeks, during the months of May and June 2023. The schedule for this occasion includes a concert with his quintet, the Quinteto De los Reyes, as well as two appearances in milongas as part of the trio Fulanos de Tal. But the most important part of this trip will be seen only a few months later: in the first weeks of the trip, the recording and filming of the "25 melodic studies" by Matteo Carcassi (1792-1853) will take place. The recording will take place in two days at the theater of the Agrupación Artística de Chivilcoy, under the direction of Gerardo Panero; the project will also have the assistance and artistic direction of Alejo's father, Oscar de los Reyes.
